Frequently Asked Questions

What happens on the trial run?

Your chosen stylist will come and visit you at your home and talk through any ideas and looks that you like. They can bring some images to inspire and give you ideas but if you have any of your own, even better. They will then work with you to create the perfect look to suit you and your hair and skin type. They will also discuss with you and organise timings for the wedding day as well as hair/make-up requirements for bridesmaids and mums if applicable. It's a great idea to bring any accessories, or your veil if you are having one, to try out with your chosen hair style.

Is there a time limit for the trial and how long does it last?

Not at all, we will work with you until you are completely happy with your look. Please allow roughly 2-3 hours for your trial.

Which products do you use?

Our stylists use variety of different brands such as M.A.C, Chanel, Benefit, Clinique, Nars, Dermologica, Dior, Illamasqua, Bobbi Brown, Laura Mercier, Lancome, YSL, Shu Uemura, Urban Decay, L'Oreal & Bumble and Bumble - all tried, tested and trusted!

If I have lots of bridesmaids will there be enough time to get everyone ready on the day?

Our stylists always ensure that they arrive on time and allocate enough time for each person. If necessary we can arrange for an additional hair/make-up assistant to help and we will write you a schedule in advance for the morning to help with timings.

How can I ensure my make-up stays perfect all day?

The way our makeup artists apply the makeup and the products they use will give it great staying power. You can also book your make-up artist to stay and be on standby to do touch-ups before photographs so that you look your absolute best all day. We recommend that you have your own lipstick/gloss to keep with you and a pressed powder.
